10 Inspirational Quotes For Female Entrepreneurs

Who’s ready for some inspiration? These are crazy times and part of your job as an entrepreneur, mompreneur or solopreneur is to find ways to keep yourself motivated. Sometimes, that’s a real challenge! Trust me, I get it. I’ve been running my own businesses for more than two decades!

As business owners, it can feel, at times, as though our brains are ALWAYS on high alert. Because, let’s be honest, being an entrepreneur has its ups and downs.

Are you asking yourself, “Am I just in a creative rut?” or ”Is this all worth it?” or even, ”Why did I think I could do this during a pandemic?”

Trust me, we have all been there. But, in the long run, life has a funny way of showing us that our entrepreneurial journey is the one we are meant to be on.

So, for those days when you need a little pick me up from some amazing women who have been RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE NOW and come out on top, here are a few of my favorite words of wisdom.

Kat Von D // Founder of KVD Vegan Beauty

“Strength doesn't necessarily come from resisting fear, weakness, or any other feeling and overcoming it. Strength comes from looking at those things straight on--and accepting them as they really are.”

Oprah Winfrey // TAlk show host, author, Philanthropist

“Follow your passion — and if you don’t know what it is, realize that one reason for your existence on earth is to find it.”

Yang Lan // co-founder of sun media group

"I think nowadays, women are breaking the borders or the boundaries and also trying to give a new interpretation in terms of impact you can have to the society.”

Marissa Mayer // FORMER CEO, Yahoo! Inc.

"If you push through that feeling of being scared, that feeling of taking risk, really amazing things can happen."

Ishita Gupta // Founder of Fear.less Magazine

“Making the decision to not follow a system, or someone else’s rules has allowed me to really dig into what my own strengths and gifts are without spending time feeling jaded or wasteful.”

Hillary Clinton // Politician

“Always aim high, work hard, and care deeply about what you believe in. And, when you stumble, keep faith. And, when you’re knocked down, get right back up and never listen to anyone who says you can’t or shouldn’t go on.”

Eileen Fisher // Fashion Designer

“Life-fulfilling work is never about the money - when you feel true passion for something you instinctively find ways to nurture it.”

Anne Sweeney // Former Co-Chair of Disney Media Networks

“Define success on your own terms, achieve it by your own rules, and build a life you’re proud to live.”

Mary Anne Radmacher // Author of Lean Forward Into Your Life

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’”

Mary Kay Ash // Founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc.

“Don’t limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.”

Remember this: be the change not just in yourself, but for the next group of female entrepreneurs who will one day look at your success story and be inspired by your commitment to yourself + your career.

Do these women inspire you + your journey? What helps you push through in the face of self doubt?
